Born and raised in New York City, moved to Paris, and met Bumpy. With a little bit of the city girl left in me, we travel mostly in Europe and rural Africa, lived out of the back of a Land Cruiser, furniture in storage, looking for “home” wherever we are.
Now settling down in the French countryside, I am becoming more and more involved with my camera and my vision, for photography becomes a part of what and who you are. If you allow yourself, you are invited to different experiences and meeting people you may never have been able to encounter before.
As Ernst Haas said: “There is only you and your camera. The limitations in your photography are in yourself. For what we see is what we are”.
