I love bread! All sorts of bread, but particularly the brown, chewy, crusty kinds. Each country has its own varieties, but perhaps the most “famous” is the “baguette” from France. My least favorite bread is in Spain (perdonen mi España).
Our “baguette” days are a few weeks away, so in the meanwhile I’m enjoying Austrian breads and rolls, made with all sorts of seeds, nuts and salt (think: pretzel).
PS – Isn’t the dirndl cute? I’d look ridiculous in one, but the locals wear it with ease and pride.
